It is hard to overvalue or overstate my affinity for stonewashed jeans. Ever since my days as a youth in Chino, I knew my love affair with this distressed style of denim pants was going to be life long indeed. My first pair of Levi's 501s, when I was just a wee lad of 6 years old, were heavily stonewashed with a mixture of granite and opal stones. |

The University of Florida campus has been hit hard this fall by the H1N1 virus, more commonly known as swine flu. Now it may have stricken the most high profile student on campus. The Gators football team has been struggling with the flu for several weeks, and sources report that quarterback Tim Tebow and two other players have been suffering from an unspecified respiratory illness and traveled separate from their teammate for precautionary reasons. |

After an erratic start to the 2009 NFL regular season, the New England Patriots have finally found some balance to their offense. Tom Brady had carried all of the weight in the Pats first two regular season games , but on Sunday he received some long overdue help from running back Fred Taylor who ran for 105 yards. As a result, the Patriots dominated the time of possession battle holding onto the ball for nearly 40 minutes en route to a 26-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. |
