Or this: Dear Mr. Howell: (sic) Your readers will delight in visiting Chicago, the City of Big Shoulders... (Uh, if they're reading Chicago Leisureguide, they're already in the City of Big Shoulders!) The queries piled up. What Are LSI Keywords? Normally the search engine follows the main keyword and takes note of its density and placement in the content body. This is a narrow and constricted approach that basically depends upon single keyword to track the site or page and in process limits the search potential of the search engine. The Latent Semantic Indexing overcomes this drawback by allowing the search engine to use LSI keywords, effectively to get higher page ranking.

Using LSI Keywords Properly Basically Latent Semantic Indexing concept is about using synonyms of the main keyword to provide greater visibility and variety to the content matter on the site. The rich variation in the content style gives it a broader and unique outlook, which is what the engine spider is always looking for to index and give it a higher page ranking. The use of related keywords or phrases gives the content, the increased opportunity to be accessed by more visitors.

Listings can be helpful, but don't rely on them exclusively. Remember that many other editors have had experiences similar to mine. They don't bother to list themselves in compilations of the publishing market.

You have to do your own research. Find out on your own whom to contact and what they're looking for. And please, please -- have a look at the mag or site before you pitch.
